Each year our Girl Scout service unit holds a "My Guy & Me" Dance, where each girl is invited to bring an important adult man in her life to a dance. The man can be a dad, uncle, grandpa, brother, or family friend. This is a favorite event of E each and every year.

This year, I was honored to have a fellow troop leader (who organized the event) ask me to volunteer / chaperone at the dance. I WAS SO EXCITED! Moms are explictedly told NOT to attend the event and they are NOT allowed to crash the party -- even if they only want to take pictures. This was my first glimpse into the daddy-daughter fun and I had a blast. It was grand!!!
