About Me

I'm Annie Blumer-LaMotte.
33 years old.
Mother of 4 wee ones – 3 drama queens and 1 busy little boy.
Wife, Sister, Daughter, Friend, Lover, Child of God.

I LOVE to volunteer.
Life motto: Pay it forward!
My favorite poem is “Phenomenal Woman” by Maya Angelou.
I really want to plant things but I seem to kill anything green!
I don't know how to say no.
Shaving your legs seems like a waste of time, especially when there are so many other things to enjoy in life!
And yet, I do conform to the social norm and generally have smooth legs.
I’ve been known to be passive-aggressive. (I’m working on it...)
I love the color green.
Nothing is more important to me than family.
I can’t sing to save my life.
I am the eldest of 3 girls.
I like to say “I don't mind if my children get dirty”, but, in truth, it gives me anxiety.
I prefer texting and emailing to talking on the phone.

Parenting is the most challenging, and the most rewarding, journey.
I’m terrified to have teenagers.
I love dancing with my children to really LOUD music.
I love reading!
Scrapbooking is my favorite creative outlet.
Watching my children play sports is better than watching any pro game.
The smell of new babies and their sweet, breathy sighs are the best things on earth.
I love to watch my kids sleep.

I love Jonny Lang, Go Fish and Madeleine Peyroux.
The smell of cigarette smoke makes me sick.
I hate ketchup.
Seriously… the smell of ketchup makes gag. Way weird, I know!
I want to learn to crochet and/or knit.

My drug of choice is caffeine, which I lovingly ingest through excessively large, daily doses of Diet Pepsi.

I recognize that my children aren’t angels and can be HUGE brats. I don't pretend they are perfect.

My life is full of Maximum Chaos and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
