It was Daddy's birthday on Fri, Aug 8th. The poor man celebrated his birth anniversary by driving more than FOUR AND A HALF HOURS up north for a family wedding (more about the wedding in a later post) with a screeching 1 1/2 and almost 3 year old. Can you imagine a better way to celebrate your birthday?!? Before we headed up north the children gave him a few small gifts.
After opening the gifts, we had chocolate chip cookies (store-bought, I am SO lazy that I didn't even do homemade this time) and as you can see Daniel thoroughly enjoyed them.
